Sienna 600 Series

The Sienna 600 Series is Spectrum Technologies’ range of fixed-beam laser wire stripping systems designed for high-throughput batch processing applications. Featuring a high-speed dual axis stage and large processing area, the system is particularly suited to the volume processing of micro-coaxial cable and fine wire used in electronics, medical device and other high-reliability manufacturing applications.

 

Designed as a fully integrated free-standing system, the Sienna 600 Series combines precise non-contact laser processing with fast and repeatable motion control to deliver consistent stripping quality across high-volume production environments. The large 390 mm x 290 mm (15.35" x 11.41") processing area enables efficient batch processing and improved production throughput.

 

The system is PLC controlled with an integrated touchscreen HMI for simplified operation, programming and job management. USB connectivity enables fast upload and download of job files, while onboard job storage supports rapid product changeovers and efficient production management.

 

The Sienna 600 Series can be configured with different laser types depending on the application, supporting both insulation removal and metal shield scribing processes.

  • Standard stripping (25 Watt & 50 Watt)
  • Shield scribing (20 Watt and 30 Watt)
  • Maximum process speed of 300mm/second (11.8”/second)
  • High positioning accuracy levels: +/- 0.1mm (0.004”)

Air Extraction

To comply with health and safety requirements, air exhaust must be provided when using any laser wire stripper. If this is not available in your factory, Spectrum’s ACS-5 systems remove all smoke, odours, particles and fumes from the laser stripping area and return clean air to the room.
