Rereeling

The Nova R500E is a powered rereeling system designed to support continuous reel-to-reel wire processing with Nova laser and inkjet wire marking systems. The system provides controlled, synchronised wire take-up to maximise throughput while maintaining consistent wire tension and handling performance.

 

Developed to match the high acceleration and deceleration capabilities of Nova wire processing systems, the Nova R500E automatically synchronises wire take-up with machine demand. Controlled tension management helps prevent wire deformation, kinking and breakage while ensuring smooth and reliable operation across a wide range of wire and cable types.

 

The system incorporates a dancer rm and motor-controlled take-up mechanism together with an integrated cable lay system to ensure wire is wound evenly and consistently onto the take-up reel. Back-tension control prevents reel overrun during rapid machine stops, eliminating the risk of wire tangling and "bird nesting".

 

Designed for production environments, the Nova R500E features a fully enclosed safety enclosure with interlocked access doors, providing safe reel loading and operation while maintaining system cleanliness and reliability.
