Spectrum Technologies Ltd is marking the 30th anniversary of the company’s management buyout (MBO) from British Aerospace PLC (now BAE Systems) on 9 March. Today the international aerospace industry relies totally on the laser marking technology pioneered by Spectrum for processing and identifying aircraft electrical wiring; with around 12,000 commercial aircraft from the global airline fleet in the air at any time, that’s over 1 million miles of laser marked wire circling the planet.
Dallas, TX – March 19, 2024 – Spectrum Technologies, a leader in laser wire marking and stripping systems, is exhibiting at the Aircraft Electronics Association (AEA) Convention in Dallas from March 19th to 22nd.
With a legacy dating back to 1989 , Spectrum Technologies has been at the forefront of designing and manufacturing laser-based wire marking, stripping and processing equipment for the production of complex wire and cable harnesses. Notably, Spectrum pioneered UV laser wire marking technology, now the global industry standard in aerospace.
